St. Paul Trail, un sentiero nella storia

"Nel June 2010 we started along the St Paul Trail, which goes into contingent in departing from the Mediterranean coast about 400 km. One month on foot, following the ancient trade routes of the Tauern, the slender margin of canyon trails that mark the complex terrain, mule herders. With the intent to follow in the footsteps of St. Paul, the great traveler of the past: the road follows ideally his first trip to Asia Minor. As a former sailor from the mainland, its routes across Anatolia in every direction. The path starts from the beautiful theater of Aspendos, the best preserved ancient Roman aqueduct and arrives Yalvac. In between the mountains and villages far from the pastoral world. It 'been a journey of discovery: no fixed stage, nights under the stars and supplies where possible. Slow steps in a landscape of dense, intricate as a turkish carpet, deep valleys, fertile plateaus, steppe areas, forests and pastures, following the thread of streams, dominated by the Koprulu with endless gorges. Sea level is rising to Barla Dagi, alpine type mountain of 2,800 meters dia. The St. Paul Trail has been developed, and the path described by Kate Clow and Terry Richardson in 2004. Few have traced in full. "
